Tripods!

We have new tripods! I'm excited about it anyway! 

So to celebrate getting some shiny equipment, As well as aiming To develop our knowledge of the camera and of camera shot types, we are going to create a short film, using every one of the camera shot types on the sheet (example below).

Three groups will create a short SILENT film with one of the following titles:

• Fear
• Hope
• Desire

Using a number of shot types.
Shot types

The aim is to encourage the group to consider the effect of shots selected and to consider how they can tell a story using just shot types and body language/expressions.

This is the blog page for KTS Cineclub. the film making groups for students in years 7-11 at Knights Tempar School.

We meet every Wednesday after school to experiment with film, looking at different genres, styles and techniques.

So far we are learning our way around the cameras and equipment but future topics will include horror, action, animation, silent film, suspense, music video and documentary. 

We are also to run workshops, competitions and the first ever KTS film festival.
